Bring your gently used children’s or adult books to the Center for Fiction and join in literary festivities for all ages, including “Make Your Own Books” with distinguished artists; Instant Writer Workshops for Teens and Adults, Readings; Panel Discussions on such topics as How To Get Published, The Futility of Interviewing Musicians, and Writing About Money

Bushwick IMPACT, an early childhood development program in Bushwick, Brooklyn, ages 0 to 8
Children of Bellevue Pediatric Center, NYC, all ages in Manhattan
Kingsbridge Innovative Design Charter School (KIDCS), a new public elementary school in the Bronx, NY (K-2nd grade)
PS 20, Anna Silver School, a public elementary school on the Lower East Side (K-5)
PS 54, Samuel Barnes Elementary School, a public school in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn (K-5)

Middle through High School level books
Young Women’s Leadership School (TYWLS), a public middle and high school for girls in Harlem
KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now), a special needs program for ages 4 to 21, in NYC
Women’s Academy of Excellence, a public high school in the Bronx
Science Skills Center High School, a public school in Brooklyn
Camp Homeward Bound, a Coalition for the Homeless summer camp, city wide

donated books for readers older than high school will be sent to the Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan
